Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy delineates the manner in which Vaultly handles, stores, and utilizes personal information collected from its users on vaultly.app. We prioritize our users' privacy and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Collection of Personal Information
- Upon registration, Vaultly collects names and email addresses of its users.
- Through the utilization of our WordPress plugin, we obtain a list of installed plugins (inclusive of their versions), themes (inclusive of their versions), and the respective website addresses of users.
Third-Party Integrations & Use Cases
- We employ Google Analytics to enhance our services, which involves monitoring user interactions.
- Live support is facilitated through Crisp. To ensure user authenticity, Crisp identifies users through a SHA256 hash of their registered email.
- User images displayed on our platform are sourced from Gravatar, which identifies users through an MD5 hash of their email.
- All monetary transactions are exclusively managed by Stripe, which negates the need for us to collect or store any payment-related information on our platform.
Website Integration & Multi-site Management
Users may optionally integrate their websites with Vaultly using API keys. A singular API key can be associated with multiple websites. By establishing this connection, we streamline the theme and plugin upgrade process across multiple websites.
Data Retention & User Rights
- We uphold the principles of data minimization and store personal information only for as long as is essential for the purposes set out in this Policy.
- Users reserve the right to seek clarification, rectification, or deletion of their personal data held by Vaultly, unless we are compelled by legal requirements to retain such data.
